The popsox have to stay on for 48 hours so that’s nice. Then 8-10 days wait for confirmation that they’ve got it all & the margins are clear (small % chance of more surgery if not). Pickle has started her first shift. Apparently trampling all over me is standard medical practice

So… I had my op today. I’m feeling remarkably fine, which is possibly the drugs & that might also explain why I’m cross eyed in pic 4). I had quite a lovely couple of hours drinking tea & reading the brilliant @CatSteadman ‘s new one (more on that later

@Conac02 Dolly I’m not lying. It really happened and like the woman in the clip I had a job getting it off. My lovely neighbour fitted the new cat flap and had to make a bigger hole in the door to fit it.

It’s been over a year since we said farewell, pet to Vera & the gang. There hasn’t been a show like it since. Such a shame it had to end!

Gary Nolan’s black Skoda Octavia (171 D 16702) was stolen last week. This car is the only way Gary can transport his son David, who has severe autism and complex needs, to vital clinical appointments.
Public transport isn't an option for David, and losing their freedom machine has been devastating for the family's mental health.
Gary gave up his job with Dublin Bus to be a full-time carer to his son.
"He had a routine and even just getting out for a drive was an escape for us. We used to drive him to a social club in Balbriggan or to visit his uncle in Co. Meath. We used the car to bring him to clinical appointments. There was always something to get him to.
"David wouldn't be able to use public transport, especially as we'd need to catch two buses to get him to some places. He doesn't understand theft. He keeps looking out the window and saying that the man will bring the car back soon."

I havent posted anything on here about it ,but strummer,me cat,has been gone since a week last saturday.He does the odd night or two out ,but never 9 days before.i thought he was a gonner.ive just gone out to do me morning shout out and he walked out behind me ,thank feck🙌🙏
