We have something exciting to share from @Conception. We generated human early egg cells (primary oocytes) from stem cells through in vitro gametogenesis, or IVG.

This technology could be one of the most significant of our lifetimes. It has been proven in mice through live healthy birth. And it has the potential to significantly expand the age women can have children, prevent disease, and dramatically expand options for family planning.

1/Induced pluripotent stem cells (#iPSCs) can become any cell type in the body. It's only limited by our imagination...and the science. This core piece of tech has enabled several companies in the ovarian aging space. But for us non-scientists, iPSCs can sound like sci-fi. 🧵
