There was something about the data breach, actually. In its July 24 verification report, Elections Alberta said it screened every submitted signature against the special decoy names embedded in the Republican Party of Alberta’s copy of the List of Electors. It confirmed that none of the petition signatures came from those seeded names. Nobody who completed the verification said their information had been placed on the petition fraudulently. Elections Alberta reviewed a contrary allegation circulating on social media and said its records did not support it. There is no evidence that the breached voter list was used to manufacture petition signatures. Sorry to disappoint. I know you were looking for something to foam at the mouth over.
