Hired 6 new employees last week. They’ve had about 5 shifts to show up for. 3 blew 1 shift last week, 1 showed up 5hrs late today. Wrote them up and one quit because of it. Not going to lie, it’s a struggle to find people that give a shit anymore.

In Sylvan Lake I spoke with an Iraqi Christian family who came to Canada in 2006 about what immigrants owe the country that welcomed them. Their response surprised me: they support it too, and they have lawn signs in support of independence up! Support for Alberta independence is not limited to people whose families have lived here for generations.
