@ShaneKReynolds @niplanner We’re losing the public space anyway. Kainos have been given permission to use it as holding space during their build after linen quarter BID spent 100k of public money redeveloping it last year.

@niplanner I can see why they'd want Bankmore square protecting current position. Obvious choice for them (shame to lose open space though). I think Library Street would be good for the city as a whole, bringing life to that end of the city centre.

It's sad to hear that Trademarket will be closing its doors at the end of summer 2024 to pave the way for the redevelopment of the current site into the new HQ for Kainos and student accommodation for QUB. While the current location was always meant to be temporary, I hope that Trademarket and its current traders can secure a new permanent location. Where do you believe would be the ideal place for Trademarket to relocate to?

@emilykmay @JoelHalcomb The biggest factor is what you put into your mouth and how often. Namely one rare disease cause people to eat uncontrollably, and no genetic trait can put extra 200 lbs on a person unless they do everything to help with it.

Thin privilege is: -finding clothes in your size easily in most stores -your doctor not automatically attributing any health concern to your weight -not wondering if people interact with you differently bc of your body size

@PeterBarabas1 I think it depends on their personality. There’s not much gore but a few scary creatures. My own kids at 10 & 7 wouldn’t be bothered but I know other who would. Definitely something to watch fully yourself first.

The Stormont Fine Dining restaurant ,featured on Nolan this morning , is fully booked until 9th January 2023. Taxpayers spent £172,085 in 7 months - subsidising the fine dining - including black pudding bonbons & iced lime parfait with gin syrup & raspberry dust.

Thumbs are hyperextending when I'm trying to peel tatties. Is there something I can use for this that can get wet - I have fabric thumb braces but, ugh. Not nice wet 😖
