Asking for a friend… imagine this is your 2026 comp plan versus 2025. ⬆️ 25% quotas ⬆️ 60% jump in new logos required ⬇️ 42% lower commission per dollar And everyone is unhappy about it. Do you really have an option other than signing it?

Absolutely insane that a major bank just collapsed for failing to meet their silver margin calls. A friend in NYC sent me this photo of the employees clearing out their desks this morning.

I somehow missed these DMs in the spammy mess of my "message requests" folder. My bad. @brianrbell please consider this post your formal notice to shove your flimsy legal threats directly up your own ass. In the future if you want to make vague threats my email address is matt@anduril.com, and if you want to deliver formal legal documents our address is 1400 Anduril, Costa Mesa, CA. Merry Christmas!

"not soliciting investment for any Anduril-related vehicle"? Really? This "draft" was written by your Founder and Managing Partner... I literally watched him edit the doc in real time. Care to update your claim?

@cailen Why have engineers build your actual product when you can have them build bad internal tooling that doesn't integrate with anything that you have to maintain forever?

Just met a company that vibe coded an entire CRM to avoid paying for HubSpot or SFDC over the last year. It’s now become a burden to maintain and missing key functionality / third-party interoperability as they scale… They’re now migrating to HubSpot. App layer is fine.

Over the last month, @usehaven hit three big milestones (which I'll share below), and I swear there's been a shift in the energy since. 1/ Revenue - We crossed $8M in ARR. And added over $700k in revenue this past month alone. 2/ Customers - Haven is officially serving 600+ businesses. Our customers run killer teams across startups, agencies, recruiting, PC-MSOs, Multi-Entity businesses, Ecommerce brands and many more. 3/ New Hires - We’ll have 5 new full-time team members by the end of October. These are hires across accounting, sales and marketing. This is the fastest we've hired since we launched in 2023! All this growth has shifted us into a new gear. The team is locked in. We've got fresh blood ready to cook. And an insatiable appetite to keep the momentum going. When I say this I mean it... we’re just getting started. Plenty of updates to come from our mission to become the best bookkeepers in the biz.

This is absolutely wild. The need for investment banking analysts will be dramatically reduced as AI modeling tools improve You’ll eventually just need one analyst to manage the modeling that 5-6 analysts currently do

Prompt: Convert this professional-grade multi tab model into a standardized GAAP template. Handled industry specific nuance, clarified for preferences, filled in with exact formulas and formatting. This would take the best professionals half a day.

its genuinely very impressive that the information is still cranking out daily episodes of its incredibly unfortunately named daily show to an average viewership of 200 people. any sane man would have given up a long time ago, but not them, they labor on

@PythiaR Cherry picking. The "old boomers" would have avoided Enron, Worldcom and the like. They would have passed on numerous crypto scams. Besides, gold has compounded at the same rate as the SPX so what did betting on growth truly achieve?

Pythia Cap: Partially Conductive
Sometimes I think about the future, like when I’m 65 and I’ve been doing this a long time what kind of investor will I be? One thing I’ve learned from watching old boomers get clowned by FAANG and now MAG7 for basically 20 years without ever bothering to do the introspection required to admit they were wrong and update how they look at the world is that I don’t want to be that kind of investor.

Just another Tuesday when Nvidia adds another $200 billion in value, nearing $5 trillion. For those counting that’s a year of FY26 sales & half of global 2025 AI capex. $200 billion will get you either of PepsiCo, Uber, Disney or Intel—the 83rd to 86th largest caps in the world.

@annia You don't think its possible that the food reporter at the New York Times came up with the idea of covering the very popular future mayor of New York who is constantly photographed eating food on her own?

Not a single one of these is going to “last a lifetime”. It’s the same nonsense as a $14k gold Apple Watch. You can’t just make-belief your way to Rolex legacy with marketing copy.

I used to track my net worth in a static Excel spreadsheet. Every quarter, I'd manually update the value of checking, savings, investment and retirement accounts and more. I’d manually track the value of my owned assets and subtract out the value of my liabilities. It took hours and told me nothing about what to actually DO. Then I connected everything to Origin and started using this new AI financial advisor. Game Over

Over time, I've realized that one of the things Apple has done over the past 4/5 years is to calm the markets by "leaking" the latest iPhone a couple days in advance. This way, any disappointment over the iPhones will be spread over a couple days and the stock won't drop 10/15% in one day. Genius move.
