@Connor_Shack It’s truly depressing just how much the average churchgoer is underestimated. One of my priests began a book club a couple of years back where we read through very deep, complicated philosophical & theological works. Open to anyone. The response & involvement has been huge.

We don't teach logic, we don't encourage it's study, we believe it's too hard to or not "practical", or (and we would never say this out loud) we don't believe the people in the pew would rise to the occasion to learn it.
