Holistic portfolio construction is key to enabling the portfolio level benefits of the inclusion of traditional assets (RWA's). As a simple example, a portfolio that allocated 90% to BTC and 10% traditional asset classes between 2010 and 2023 would have realised a volatility of 86% and experienced a worst single day loss of 48% . By comparison, a 50% split between BTC and traditional asset classes would have had a much lower volatility of 48% and a worst single day loss of -26%.
