American police genuinely just want to go around assaulting and even killing the people they claim to serve and protect

Unfortunately, it seems to be the mass majority have one, if not more or all of those problems at once. Nothing will change until the system changes.

@Skatter44 @TeaTimeWithTeha We have a severe issue with law enforcement showcasing an overwhelmingly common use of excessive force, instigation rather than de-escalation, large egos, etc. They are meant to protect and serve the people. They are improperly trained & the system employs violent individuals.

I have no idea who this woman is but it is literally textbook psychology that a groomed person will defend and even be hostile towards justice for their abuser. We have seen this many times from child abuse survivors (“you don’t understand mum he loves me unlike you”) to sex trafficking (“he only wants me to make us enough money so we can be together and have a good life, I chose to do it”). It can take YEARS to accept you were conned/brainwashed/trafficked.
