@NotWatsonClub1 @michele__ann @Flexbball They need to learn how the legal system works. Prosecutors only take cases to trial that they believe they can get a conviction. Saying he wasn’t convicted isn’t an excuse. He’s just another Brock Turner that got off because of his athletics. This case went to trial for a reason.

@XanderAWright @ctvottawa If this is an area of the law that is too grey, then in 2021 it is time that drug facilitated sexual assault is addressed in the law.

@XanderAWright @ctvottawa Thanks for your question! The Attorney General still has the power to step in, which is who we are calling on. He has the ability to ensure this is not a precedent now set for future cases in the criminal code.
