Thank you to all MPs and Peers who have worked to end live exports in Parliament for years. And to all the orgs, campaigners and public who have tirelessly worked to end this vile trade. GB is the first in Europe to ban live animal exports & we hope other countries will introduce their own bans

It’s vital to oppose measures that would roll back laws protecting farmed animals from extreme confinement. Weakening these protections would condemn countless animals to prolonged and unnecessary suffering

Here is a reminder of what it is like for calves inside the trucks 🚚 This footage was taken at Rosslare Port, before the long ferry journey. They will have already been in the truck for several hours. Journeys can take 50 hours or more in total. No headroom, barely space to lie down, and of course no food.
