From a legal POV, “same NFT, new chain” isn’t trivial, and I don't think this was very well thought out from @StargazeZone or @cosmos:
💣Migrating = creating a new token (new contract, new chain, new ID), not just “moving” the old one.
💣 One is also changing the commercial & IP framework under which holders originally bought the NFT.
💣Key risks: ownership vs. duplication, loss of expected properties, and whether ToS actually allow chain migration or token substitution at the time the NFTs were created/minted etc.
💣Mandatory migrations without clear consent can look like unilateral contract changes. Maybe even depriving holders of the asset they originally purchased.
