Anyone in the world can buy this Huawei laptop, the most advanced in the world. Except if you live in the USA, where it's banned.

@Prof__Craig @ShangguanJiewen It's banned in the USA because its junky processor and sketchy graphics, plus the notoriously buggy Harmony OS, makes this obsolete computer a terrible value in America, even when priced at the very lowest tiers of laptop models.

@ShangguanJiewen It's banned due to hatred of a tech company that leads the world and beats their tech... Thank God Huawei have 1.4 billion customers without them

Okay, then if this laptop has a Kirin processor on it instead of AMD/Intel, then it is not! an advanced laptop. In fact, bring powered with a processor that has the computational power of a Qualcomm offering from 2019, makes this laptop an underperformer among it's peers. And we finally learn the real reason why it isn't sold in the USA: no one will buy it at any price due to obsolete performance metrics.

@ShangguanJiewen The only thing that makes this laptop advanced is the American processor and graphics that power it. What a dolt...

Just to give the reader an idea how much of a paper tiger China really is, not a single Chinese radar or defense system worked for the Iranian army; our hardware secured Iran's skies where we now control with impunity. Of course, Xi had to do massive housecleaning of his military ranks as a result, leaving almost no one left to run the PLA. If a war were to break out between the PLA and the Herculean USA, the USA would demolish the country in less than a couple months time...

The USA spends a trillion dollars a year on wars. China spends a trillion dollars a year on people and infrastructure. Which model is the way forward for humankind?

Explaining what China has become in recent years, to those who haven't seen China in the last few years, feels like explaining how a smartphone works to a medieval peasant. You just have to see it for yourself...

@William85686338 @ShangguanJiewen You should see what this guy does to the pictures of his Chinese apartment. He photoshops them like a mf. He claims to have bought this luxury pad with only $25k, then photoshops half the pictures he shows us. In China everything is fake... Including his pictures...

@ShangguanJiewen This is AI. No city in Asia including China has lit up in every building. No lie, I have been to some of them. They were pitiful quiet with few pedestrians and cars. These are paid posts.

Capitalism of the most abject kind. Gluttonous wealth side by side with abysmal poverty. Laughable safety nets by a government that pretends to be a champion of the worker and enemy of the proletariat. Absurdly low wages that decrease every year. Cutthroat competition where your labor is virtually given away to people in foreign countries. Incessant propaganda and lies broadcast 24 hours a day. Heavily censored Internet, massive organ harvesting at scale, over 40 laws on the books that call for the death penalty, hefty prison sentence to anyone brave enough to speak his mind, over 600M earning less than ¥1,000/month, etc, etc, etc...

Then head into the interior of the cities Jason speaks of. There, you'll see how the Chinese really live--usually high-density 3br apartments with no dishwasher or fireplace, patio furniture in the dining room, no front/back yards, no attached garage, hearing your neighbors argue and smelling their farts... True third-world living.

@DanJDavi If you are into futurism, land in Shenzhen, go north to Guangzhou, north to Changsha, then to Wuhan, and finally, head west to Chongqing. Absolute gems.

High speed rail links the small cities in China like commercial air links the small cities in the United States. Since high speed rail is the kind of transportation expected of third-world nations, China ain't going anywhere until they take to the skies like the civilized countries have done.

Those skylines just reek of Communist repression! If I were to visualize your typical Communist bloc city scape, it would definitely be this. Imagine all the landlords who were coerced by the government to install all those lamps against their will, or bring a resident just trying to get a good night's sleep. Impossible with all that commotion going on. And to think it's all just to satisfy a megalomaniac dictator!

@ArthurMacwaters If a woman can't have the baby of her beloved "narc" (narcissistic SO), then she won't have anyone's baby. This is the reason for the population decline....

the belief that birth rate is going down because of cost of living is statistically false birth rate drops most after countries become affluent it’s a self-defeating mechanism this is the final boss of civilization and has not yet been beaten

The biggest threat to civilization is not climate change or war It is the collapsing birth rate.....It's hitting record lows and consistently accelerating downward If we don’t have enough people to sustain the light of consciousness on Earth, we’ll never make it to the stars. Mars will stay empty. Earth will become a graveyard Population collapse is a choice. We need to stop making it

産経ニュース@Sankei_news

@predict_trader @GertrudeStrarf This post is quoted for truth. Visibility is awful! And yes, mirror placement is for the blue guys from the movie Avatar. However, I think that American car designers had things on their minds other than ergonomics when designing their cars...

@GertrudeStrarf I wonder how the Cadillac Escalade IQ would sell in Japan? Lol the Chinese can keep their $6,000 Wulings; this is how the USA does electric vehicles: 5,700mm long, 2,167mm wide, 4241 kg(!) and 750km range per charge. Caddy. Rhymes with daddy. 🤣

Okay, people from Japan can you please help? I'm an American who owns a Lexus. It's a great car but it has this one really odd feature--when I park the car the mirrors suddenly fold inward! I am at a loss to explain this most puzzling vehicle behavior. Why do the mirrors do this? What is its purpose? HELP!!!
