Let me fill you on the Avatar the last Airbender issue - Hundreds of artists worked all through even with the constant fear of losing their jobs - people were excited because it was going to be on the big screen - Production is done - Paramount says nahh guys we are putting on our streaming platform instead - people filed petitions,…crickets - In the last 48 hours, an hacker group leaked the whole movie for free - millions of people have watched it - the videos have been taken down from X, but people are sharing links to download - it is everywhere!!!!! - the only way to come back is for Paramount to release this on the big screen or lose out big time - it’s so sad to see people’s work just dumped online with no respect to creators, the corporations are evil but please the Animators that worked on this deserve a chance for their work to be shown properly. #avatar #movie #avatarthelastairbender

I feel very strongly about this topic. These VAR officials are just not trained to use video technology.
Scrap VAR for the time being if the users are not good enough.

No consistency and professionalism. This is a sports filled with money and nobody is working to make VAR professionals and consistent. Let me explain 1. Consistency — The reasoning and explanation given for Amad and Maguire incidents completely different. For Amad, the reasoning was the foul was on upper body and there wasn’t enough pull for Amad to fall “like that”. For Evanilson, the argument was that Maguire didn’t attempt to play the ball so that was a foul. How do you expect consistency if the reasonings aren’t consistent. If the same rules were applied (challenging for the ball or upper body contact) then either both of them were penalties or both of them were non fouls. How are we into 5th/6th year of VAR and VAR officials just working on their vibes? There is not a checklist for them to follow. Watch other sports and you would understand what I mean. 2. Professionalism — When I hear VAR officials, it doesn’t sound like professionals on their job, rather it’s friends talking. At times they are shouting over one another. In this video, the linesman saying “mate”. In other sports, video officials will sound boring but they will act professionally. They will be calm and try to objectively assess the situation. They won’t make it feel like chaotic situation. Scrap VAR unless you can fix these issues. These officials are just not trained for these.

Guys are criticising Amad, but he’s actually the one creating opportunities from open play. He doesn’t only have two assists because he isn’t creative he’s got two because his teammates aren’t finishing the chances he creates. In 1v1 situations he’s solid, he draws fouls, he’s intelligent, and he has a great touch. People just want to criticise him because of stats.

I also don’t hate Adria as Diana, I think she’d be good, but I do think it’s worth listening to actual dedicated fans of the character who aren’t as sold on it and why.
Their opinions, to me atleast, hold a lot more weight than people who are mostly just neutral about the character and her mythos.
