@heretohelp888 @BrianAtlas I’ve take care of my kids alone for up to a week many times. It’s not that bad. My wife always comes back surprised to hear nothing went wrong or I didn’t complain about something while she was gone. Definitely not the hardest thing I’ve had to do. Don’t be a bitch.

I'm a stay at home father. I can tell you that being the primary caregiver is harder than any other job I held, especially for the first 5 years before schooling starts. There is no break, if you're doing it right, and it seems to be very thankless by spouses because people underestimate the stress of it all. That being said, comparing your duties is idiotic. It serves no purpose other than to foster resentment. I believe what most of these people are looking for is acknowledgement of their value. But this trend isn't the way to get it.

I loathe this viral TikTok trend of entitled, oblivious, ungrateful moms/wives downplaying the contribution of husbands/fathers. What would YOU add to the dad side that she conveniently omits?
