@Davelikesdisc @footballcardfun I think a lot of social media portrays it as free money but it’s essentially just being good at business and knowing the markets which is actually really hard to do unless this is your full time job

like gamblers think they make money, it's the same with collectors. the elite few can afford to do high end flipping, but that's a whole different risk level

@Coolectable_ @footballcardfun If you are a card reseller/flipper you can also get your account sales tax exempt too which definitely helps.

@AcmePacks @footballcardfun Even just buying a card and repurchasing it later at a “cheaper” price isn’t all that easy. 13.25% to eBay and then paying federal/state taxes on top of that just eats away a massive chunk of profits. Card needs to really tank to make it worth it sometimes
