The Consumer Council has launched a daily home heating oil price checker to help consumers track prices across Northern Ireland. Last Tuesday, we hosted our launch event for our draft 2026-32 Corporate Plan and 2026-27 Forward Work Programme. We welcomed a range of stakeholders to the Stormont Pavilion, who contributed to a valuable discussion on challenges facing consumers and the role of strong consumer representation. Since then, we have been to London where we engaged directly with organisations and policy stakeholders, sharing our proposed strategic priorities. Tomorrow, we head west to Derry/ Londonderry for our third consultation event, and we look forward to hearing from more of our stakeholders. Not surprised in the slightest tbh. You were protected by the law of Bailment and should have asserted your rights. My daughter had to climb in via the boot in the rain to gain access to the car then after that I had to make this to gain access to drivers door via the boot.
