@tobyasky Yeah it was evident early in the second half that Gana Gueye were struggling. Olise was running rings around him. He also should have brought on Assane Diao for Mane. Mamadou Sarr should be starting ahead of Kalidou Koulibaly against fast teams, his legs are gone

What I observed from Senegal's angle.
They had a great start, a start that any team would have wished for. The game was balanced in the first half.
Immediately the 2nd half started, the tide swung in France's favour, they kept coming and coming at Senegal, but the coach was not pragmatic enough.
For 20mins in the 2nd half, he could not do anything, I would have expected a change because they were doing nothing.
Idris Gueye is 36 years old and has totally lost the midfield, Pape Gueye was also gone, it was time to bring in fresh players into the midfield.
I have no idea what Pathe Ciss has done to the coach, the guy would have brought control to the already-lost midfield, but he had to concede two goals before bringing him in.
Sarr should not have come out in the 2nd half with the performance in the first 45, but coach is not bold enough. Mane was also off.
Next game, Mbaye or Ndiaye should start, they're more unpredictable, Pathe Ciss should also start. He's just had a great season, he should start.
