Usually when I order a coffee the tourist in front of me picks it up and drinks it before I get to it. #SanFrancisco #coffee @ContrabandSF always makes me another one though. :-)

So in San Francisco there’s a GREAT coffee bar/roaster called @ContrabandSF . I bought two bags of beans as a gift. My bag just got searched at the airport. It was the bags. They literally have the word contraband written on them. We all laughed (sort of).

@djensen47 Every crop has differences compared to past and future crops. There are a lot of variables in play. Beans will even change during the 4 to 6 months we have them at the roastery. But these subtle or pronounced differences make coffee fun and keep our palettes sharp!

The Bali beans at @ContrabandSF are back and the blueberry and nutty aromas are strong and amazing! ☕ Last fall, they were not this strong. New/better crop? Different source?
