In Australia, we admire the NHS because we get to recruit their well-trained, English-speaking nurses because we pay them 50% more and offer a more pleasant climate and quality of life than the UK.

America has many "unincorporated areas" with no municipality covering sparsely populated areas.
Australia has done the opposite, creating local government units (often called shires) that cover huge stretches of unpopulated desert.
