@LoftusSteve We had some traveller kids come into our local pool hall begging some of the patrons for sponsorship. There was no charity, they were just stealing. (I've got a dozen more stories like this)

Could it possibly be because their theiving scum who live in trash strewn shovels and turn any place they turn up to into a shithole? I one bought something off Facebook. Turned out to be a Traveller site. Rubbish everywhere, 20 dogs roaming around, dog shit all over, women in dressing gowns at lunch time, filthy kids everywhere and the thing I went to buy had "Property of Next" stamped on it.

Often described as the most vilified community in Britain, Travellers say they're facing a fight for survival – struggling to find places to stay while keeping their culture alive. @LisaatSky gains rare access inside a community often sceptical of outsiders

Rupert Lowe’s policy on banning foreigners from benefits is a good one. They will start to deport themselves when they don’t get everything for free but I can’t help but think they aren’t going to go peacefully. Looting and stealing will sky rocket. This is going to get ugly.

@TheLaurenChen Even if this were superficially true, this like saying you should like a kit car as much as the supercar it was based on.

I’m extremely bullish on Canada long term as I’ve been saying lately. Adjusted for size - my Canada is attracting twice as much foreign direct investment as the next closest G7 country. We’re almost double the US. 😤 We are truly the G’est of the G7. Thank you, Carney. ✊🏽

@StefanMolyneux None who were original, but my GF is good at exaggerating the joke and goofing around. In fairness, its much more fun listening to her laugh anyway.

The Falklands belong to Argentina. The British have zero right to moan about how the people living there have any right to self-determination when Britain itself has NEVER respected the rights of anybody else. Just ask the Palestinians.

I will keep saying it but the best trade in the world right now is rotating from Real Estate to Bitcoin. Rapidly falling birth rates, reduced migration and increasing taxes means that the easy wins of the last 30 years are over. Coming to a city near you. The Great Rotation.

Basically the nicest guy you'll ever meet. I heard an anecdote from a woman and her daughter about what kind of man he was. The daughter was 3 at the time and they were both in the crowd to see the players when the team bus turned up. All the players got off and walked in but no Beckham. Most of the crowd started to disperse, but the mum and daughter were slow to leave. Beckham then emerged from the bus and the crowd started to surge back towards them. Fearing that the daughter would be crushed by the returning crowd, Beckham reached over the barriers and scooped her up into his arms. He then proceeded to sign autographs for 10 minutes with the daughter on his arm before returning her to her mum. They said it was the best experience of their lives.

I honestly completely understand, from a worldly, not Christian view, that women dress like sluts at the gym. I personally, don't even have a problem with it. What I do however think is crazy, is that women are practically naked in the gym but then complain when men look at them? Like dress like a slut, get gazed at like a slut.. Fair? But to dress like a slut but be ignored like a nun is just female delusion.

@bowtiedmeathead We used to have 10 kids come round and play party games in the garden. It was the cost of a cake and a couple of quid for each kid for sweets and a cheap toy to put in the goodie bag.

My 12 yr old son went to a bday party the other day for one of his friends in the neighborhood. The party was at Top Golf. About 25 kids give or take. They rented out 4 bays. Tons of food. Everyone had a great time. The previous week he went to a kids party at Dave and Busters. Same deal about 20 kids or so. Maybe I’m a bit old school (and cheap lol) but we never threw a big group friend’s party like that for the kids. We always told them they can invite 3-4 of their friends and we’ll take them out somewhere or we would have the entire family come over for cake and ice cream. Now you got parents out doing one another on these elaborate and expensive bday parties. Maybe it’s just my generation (I’m 46) with everyone trying to be an overachiever, but if you ask me it’s a bit excessive and over the top.

I used to troll atheists with this question a decade ago and it always makes them frustrated they can't escape religion. But it's true. There are denominations of atheism. Many realize they're just bitter at a particular form of Christianity rather than religion itself by asking

Great to see some mainstream media coverage of Tesla Semi: "With a diesel Semi, to go about 500 miles here in California with diesel being $7.66 on avg, you're looking at about $520 to go that distance. But with the @Tesla Semi, one single charge will get you there for $275." DHL thinks the higher upfront cost of the Tesla Semi will be more than worth it over the lifetime of the vehicle with big fuel and maintenance savings.
