@AndrewScheer The rock star Central banker was the economic advisor to Justin Trudeau for 5 years before he became PM. He is responsible for most of the failed Liberal policies of the past 10 years.

A quick look at Carney’s record shows he has been wrong on every major economic issue: He predicted COVID would cause DEFLATION. He believes the government can print money without causing inflation. He championed carbon taxes. He supported Trudeau’s pipeline cancellations. His net-zero banking alliance collapsed. He lobbied to leave natural resources in the ground. The fact that he went to school for a really long time to arrive at all those mistakes actually makes his failures even worse!

Countries run by ideologues seldom succeed because decisions are neither rational nor are they data driven. Trudeau was an ideolgue, and a read through Carney's book 'Values' leaves no doubt that he is one as well. If Carney sticks to the script of his book, we're in trouble.

La classe moyenne disparaît tranquillement… Cette semaine, j’étais de passage avec Sophie Durocher à Dans le blanc des yeux (ce soir sur LCN). On a parlé de plein de sujets… mais il y en a un qui m’inquiète vraiment : la classe moyenne du Québec. Celle qui fait rouler le Québec. Celle qui travaille fort, paye ses taxes… pis qui essaye d’arriver et de mettre un peu d’argent en plus d’essayer de vivre une belle vie. Par contre aujourd’hui elle disparaît à vue d’œil et c’est pas une impression, c’est les chiffres : Depuis 10 ans, le coût de la vie a explosé, surtout le logement (+40 à 70 % dans plusieurs régions) Le salaire, lui, n’a pas suivi au même rythme et loin de là et pendant ce temps-là, les plus riches ont vu leur patrimoine augmenter beaucoup plus vite que le reste de la population Résultat? Les riches deviennent plus riches Les pauvres s’appauvrissent Et la classe moyenne se fait écraser solide Avant, tu pouvais vivre correctement, acheter une maison, mettre de l’argent de côté. Aujourd’hui, même avec un bon salaire… t’as l’impression de courir après ta vie. C’est rendu ça, la réalité au Québec. Pis le pire? On continue de penser que la solution, c’est juste taxer plus. Opignion: Chefferie du Parti conservateur du Canada Plusieurs commentateurs politiques affirment présentement que Poilievre devrait démissionner; ce sont les mêmes qui souhaitaient que Jean Charest soit élu comme chef. Le problème de ce parti n’est pas le chef, mais plutôt les députés qui ne sont pas réellement des conservateurs. Les membres du parti ont choisi Pierre et, s’il n’avait pas été élu, une grande portion de la base aurait voté pour le Parti populaire de Maxime Bernier, comme en 2021 avec O’Toole. Le Canada n’est pas prêt pour un véritable parti conservateur; le pays devra s’effondrer davantage pour qu’un changement radical obtienne une acceptabilité sociale, exemple: l'Argentine. Des rumeurs indiquent que quatre députés conservateurs québécois voudraient rejoindre Carney : Lefebvre, Godin, Martel et Dominique Vien. Qu’ils partent, et qu’on choisisse des personnes avec de vraies valeurs de droite la prochaine fois.

@yaboyeggnog @guillaum3roy La différence est qu'à l'époque de Harper ce n'était qu'un député et ça ne changeait rien au parlement. Aujourd'hui nous avons 5 députés qui ont probablement été soudoyés pour basculer la balance du pouvoir au parlement. Pas du tout le même contexte.

Does Blanchet finally get it? Carney is purposely sabotaging our relationship with the U.S. & he’s willing to sacrifice a million Canadian jobs to do so. This is not Carney’s sole decision to make. He is supposed to be working on behalf of us, and getting a deal done with the US should be top priority. He is playing a very dangerous game.

Political judo is not about denying your opponent’s strength. It is about using that strength against them. Core Principle: Flip the Credential The mistake is to argue: "Carney is badly educated and is not knowledgeable." The correct argument is: "Carney knows exactly what he's doing. That's what makes the results inexcusable." This single reframe does three things simultaneously: — It sounds fair-minded and serious not petty or desperate — It neutralizes the "you're just attacking a smarter man" counter-narrative — It dramatically raises the stakes: ignorance is forgivable; expertise with failure is disqualifying Turn credentials into expectations. If he owns the outcome, then every frustration Canadians feel is his to explain. Every speech, every scrum, every debate answer should be able to return to this spine:   "We are not questioning what Mr. Carney knows. We are questioning what Canadians have to show for it."   This is unassailable. It is fair. It is devastating. It gives the persuadable voter permission to move. That is political judo.
