Can confirm: @tomcruise is every ounce the gracious & courteous Movie Star you’d think he would be. That he loves movies as much as I love movies (and maybe more because he makes them)…. well, it felt like meeting a kindred spirit/ member of the movie theater-going community.

The glorious The Invite aside of course, in all the weird noise around Don't Worry Darling, it's too easy to forget that Olivia Wilde directed Booksmart, one of the funniest comedies of the last decade

First look at John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein's ‘MAYDAY’, starring Ryan Reynolds and Kenneth Branagh. The thriller follows a navy pilot who becomes stranded in Russia and forms an unlikely alliance with an ex-KGB agent. Releasing September 4 on Apple TV

‘THE ODYSSEY’ is sold out at the BFI IMAX theater in London for the next 2 weeks.

"The future belongs to everyone" is such a fantastic Superman qoute. It also perfectly sums up his entire life's mission

Upset to have to have cancel my odyssey screening tonight because of my increased back pain. Idk how I’m gonna do that this weekend with the general public 😭

David Jenkins has been attached to Booster Gold as a showrunner and executive producer. This would indicate that DC Studios picked up his pilot script for the series. (via directories.wga.org/member/davidje…)

George Lucas says AI “means it’s much easier for us to make movies.” “It’s very much like sitting here saying, ‘Well, I believe the horse and the buggy is really where it’s at. These cars, they break down, they need gas, there’s all kinds of problems with them and pretty soon they’ll be making them into tanks, and then they’ll be killing people. It’s terrible.’ There’s nothing you can do about it, That’s progress, it’s the future…If you want AI that tells you when something is fake and where it came from, AI can do that. Humans can’t, we’re not that smart. The whole idea is you’re a human being, you’re responsible for what you say and what you do, and if you’re doing something that’s illegal you should be punished for that. Whatever you do, you should be recognised. It’s just like real life.” (Source: a-rabbitsfoot.com/editorial/conf…)

@MoviesThatMaher Catastrophic damage to the brand??? lol. Supergirl is a b/c-list character that they took a chance on and it didn’t work. It’s not like they fumbled Batman and Superman in their first film together and damaged the brand for a decade.
