Let’s look at his record: Hired Mandelson, against all advice, a man who had a “close relationship” with Epstein even after his conviction. Rejected a grooming gang inquiry. Imported tens of thousands of illegal migrants who have medieval views on women. Forgive me for being sceptical, but his record doesn’t exactly look amazing.

Spot on commentary from Iain Dale. Starmer does not answer questions and is clearly rattled and aggressive. His MPs also became more uncomfortable as the charade rattled on.

Am I missing something here, apologising to Epstein’s victims, what about Britain’s rape gang victims? Do they not deserve more from Starmer’s government and London Mayor?

As I have pointed out several times this week on Times Radio and elsewhere, property taxes on expensive properties in America and France are way, way above property taxes in even the most expensive homes in UK. And will remain so even with Reeves’ underwhelming ‘mansion’ tax.
