Hands up if you’ve had your council tax bill for the next year and it’s going up! 🙌🏼 Mine wasn’t frozen, it’s gone up. Labour lied to get into power. “Labour would freeze your council tax” “Not a penny more on your council tax” “No ifs, no buts” Lies, lies, and more lies.
Great to be invited to represent Reform 🏴 on behalf of our neighbouring branch! There was a broad range of subjects discussed that affects everyone across Wales 🏴 From the dire state of our NHS, ambulance waiting times, withdrawal of primary care, social care! Plus slow decline of the Welsh University sector , in this case Lampeter University, and the general university sector and reasons for our young to stay and prosper in Wales are all immense concerns for all of us! Nonetheless, on top of all those issues the hot issue is clearly Net Zero and ALL of its consequences! Pylons, Wind mills and Solar Panelling our green and pleasant land for generations is a massive concern! The sheer scale of the ridiculous windmills is unbelievable! See photos below! We all know, they’re not cheap, reliable or green! Tonnes of concrete and steel, trees knocked over, farmland ruined on and on, don’t think there’s any upside to the destruction of our country in the name of Net - stupid - zero, is helping anyone bar a few on the receiving end of the huge subsidies and huge bills we ALL now pay! Worse than that, the 3 most pro Net Zero parties couldn’t even be BOTHERED to turn up, to argue their case, take the flak etc etc, see empty seats! Chickening out, yup, invertebrate and shameful, were Plaid (needed a lie down after last hustings), Labour (ruiners in chief and charge) and Lib (don’t like the demos) Democrats - all of whom don’t want to engage their constituents! The only one with any guts to turn up was a young gentleman, early 20’s, from the Greens who took some heat, but kept smiling, much respect to him for having one of these backbone things so lacking in modern politics, whilst I disagree with almost everything he had to say, I fully respect his right to say it! On the way out, a farmer (those people who feed us everyday) who didn’t get his question in due to running out of time, accosted me and asked me myself on ‘Reforms farming policies, TB etc?’ I referred him to, and anyone, who’s interested, please look at the Reform Wales manifesto, it’s the most pro farming, pro tourism, pro rural, pro common sense manifesto out there!
