They'll touch 21 seasons, yes. But it takes one bad start to a season, or maybe a season filled with injuries or just a year where the coach's system slowed your production for that year. All of a sudden you're not PPG and there's no do overs. You have to be perfect all the way through. Sid had all those things I mentioned and still maintained the PPG streak. It's not Gretzky's point record but it's still a very impressive accomplishment that showcases longevity and consistency.
