Dear God in heaven, hearing Nate Oates talking about Bediako on the NCAA Sweet 16 podium tonight after a loss in this event is disgusting. Just a complete embarrassment as a college coach. What a POS. Alabama should have had an athletic department rep jumping in front of the cameras to get him out of there like a secret service agent taking a bullet. Oates would be thought of as a bad guy among college coaches even if that murder stuff wasn’t the first thing you think when you thought of him. Which is quite a damn statement.

Win or lose on Friday, I am marking this season as a success. 25 wins, 4th straight Sweet 16 (5 out of the last 6 years), 2nd in the SEC, etc. Oats doing that with all the injuries and off-court drama is nothing short of impressive.

I'm not a hypocrite. I will tell you, I want Aden Holloway to play Friday because my #1 goal here is to win ball games. The folks asking that he be suspended? They're hypocrites. They're not really offended that a college kid (who, BTW, has the money to buy that much and therefore not have to go thru street dealers every week) has weed. They just want Alabama to lose ball games.
