It is very sad, but $AMC is also down. I am almost giving up encouraging Apes to buy this stock. They are mostly hot air.

Markets are strange. My biggest long is -5% on results I thought good. My third biggest long is +8% on results I thought average One of my biggest shorts is up hard on results I think are air. Many of my shorts are down hard, also on air. There is far less logic to it than you would care to admit.

Enormous congratulations to Graham King, producer of the new smash hit Michael Jackson biopic movie MICHAEL, and to its distributors Lionsgate (domestically) and Universal (internationally). Graham believes moviemakers should give audiences what they want; namely, movies that entertain, amuse and delight… movies that are meant to be seen in theatres on giant screens. Michael so very much fills that bill. It is an important and successful movie that has moviegoers singing and dancing with their praise. Graham is a prolific producer with about twenty movies under his belt, including the multiple Oscar winning films of such consequence: Bohemian Rhapsody, The Aviator and The Departed.

The Mandalorian and Grogu are ONLY IN THEATRES starting May 22. But today they were in Los Angeles, as was I. Tickets are on sale now for AMC and the latest Star Wars influenced movie from Disney and Lucas Films. It is spectacular. Really phenomenal!

I noticed something interesting about many memecoins on XRPL. In many cases, nearly all of their liquidity is in the form of an AMM between XRP and the memecoin. This means that if the price of XRP (say, measured in dollars) goes up, say, 5%, the price of the memecoin (again, measured in dollars) goes up 5% automatically because the AMM maintains the same exchange rate to XRP. Of course, the memcoin's price can change independently of the price of XRP. And an increase in the price of XRP leading to an increase in the price of the memecoin can trigger profit taking in the memecoin even if it doesn't trigger profit taking in XRP. But still, it means that if you hold $50 worth of a memecoin of this type, one component of the future price of the memecoin will be changes in the price of XRP. In effect, you have some exposure to the changing supply and demand for the meme and some exposure to the changing value of XRP.
