Just realized the new book I’m reading.. was made into a movie I’ve already seen.. *sigh the betrayal i feel right now.. 😓😪

Sat in on a virtual meet and greet for my program last night.. I can’t believe an entire year has gone by.. 🥹 I remember being one of those faces in a box on the screen, hoping that I’d connect and be invited to interview with the places I loved.

i can't be a giver anymore. i want to be loved, nourished, taken care of, spoiled and prioritized. not just by words, by actions too

In the past week I’ve gotten to participate in an I&D, LP, Laceration repair, and reduction of a posterior hip dislocation. 😎

This shift thing would drive me crazy though.. starting anytime of the day.. 😪

But I mostly likely will never see these ppl again and pray that they have good outpatient follow up with their pcp and other specialists.. haven’t really had to deal with any hard social cases yet, so maybe that’ll change things..

It’s been great getting to see so many different problems in one shift.. impacting so many people.. it’s like clinic on steroids..

I have such a love/hate relationship with the ED.. and it seems to be mostly attending specific 😩
