@RSPN_Hideouts Now ban RC filter. May as well allow cheats if not going to ban the filter. It’s gotten out of control in last couple weeks

@AlbralelieVT 12 bit, 8k. Raw, raw. 0-100 both sticks dz. Use the bottom anti dead zone number for a looser feel if needed such as .9-100

Controllers now give ultra sticky aim assist in Apex Legends! Controllers have built in filters that trick the game engine into giving you permanent Aim Assist tracking. Explained: 1. Controller software Filters are SUPPOSED to smooth out thumb inputs, making your raw aim feel stable. (e.g., +10 smoothness) 2. When you add negative Filter values (e.g., -10), instead of filtering noise, it actively introduces it. It actively injects artificial micro-jitters (Gaussian Noise) into your stick output. 3. Why this breaks Apex Legends: Apex’s Rotational Aim Assist (RAA) is designed to activate only when it detects active stick input. By silently injecting high-frequency micro-jitters into your signal, the controller tricks the game engine into thinking your thumb is constantly making micro-adjustments. This forces the game to keep RAA fully engaged 100% of the time, resulting in an unnatural "ultra aim assist" that tracks targets for you, even if your thumb is perfectly still. 4. By hiding this exploit behind a harmless-sounding slider labeled "RC Filter," they are disguising a hardware-level cheating as a simple "tuning preference."

With all this gamesir controller drama, legit the only way forward is to restrict all ranked modes and tournaments to MNK only. Aim assist era needs to end. Let the casuals have aim assist. Let competitive be about skill and not whoever locked on with aim assist first.

@ImperialHal @monoru_trie @MandeOW Non pro here. I have the Gamesir 8k, current rank is masters. I’ve tested every combination with jitter, and I can conclude it’s not giving me any benefit. It adds input delay and sucks for tracking at range. This feature would benefit a new to roller user.

I think you should try it first before you speak on it , I’ve tried it on 3 different controllers and my honest opinion I think it’s not good at all. Most of the time it gets in the way unless it’s close range , in the clips the “shaking” is just an exaggeration of someone having the settings high for the filter . It would only maybe benefit average players or below average but it would maybe be a 1% benefit to their gameplay . People are blowing it completely out of proportion

Yesterday I found out there's a "Filter" in some controllers that makes your stick "jitter" to improve aim assist close range, this was used by pros at LAN (allegedly), how can you use and defend using this shit, if I download a macro on my mouse that jitters it so I can have no recoil long range, I'd be instantly banned, now the problem is, its been banned in ALGS but ranked is gonna be infested with this shit. Just ban custom controllers already or atleast do something about it. Shit is getting really sad to be some of the only MNK players left in this amazing game (yes i complain about aimassist alot and i just need to get good i get it) but alot of people (chat) have said that its really sad to be a casual MNK player at this point cause its impossible to keep up
