Gavin Newsom to ban California officials from insider betting on prediction markets dlvr.it/TRkNkL

Roger must have skipped climate class like Greta, because he would have learned that climate change is affected by many solar related cycles -- some are warming and some are cooling. Furthermore, the AMO and PDO ocean cycles (not seen on this image) produce additional forcings.

A peer-reviewed study finds that most of the temperature rise observed over the past century in the US isn't from greenhouse gases, but instead from roads, buildings and parking lots. By comparing raw US temperature data from stations in areas with different population densities, the study found that 65% of the warming since 1895 is explained by the urban heat island effect, and another 8% by urban growth into once-rural areas. That's nearly three quarters of the warming. No CO2 involved. Crucially, NOAA's adjusted data hides this effect. 'Homogenization' smooths it out, a process the study's author, Dr Roy Spencer, calls "urban blending". It's not global warming. It's urbanization.

Just a reminder: 4 years ago, we were paying $5 for gas for no good reason. Now, we are temporarily paying $4 for gas in order to make sure that terrorists don't get nuclear weapons. That America's leftists had no problem with gas prices 4 years ago but foment whinging about today's, tells you all you need to know about them.

Urban Heat Islands do not explain the observed Global Warming. 71% of the Earth's surface is covered by water. There are no cities there. There are no Urban Heat Islands there. That 71% of our planet's surface is exponentially warming.
