COPS RECOVER AK-47 RIFLE IN LOLGORIAN, HUNT FOR SUSPECT UNDERWAY In a well-coordinated operation, police officers based at Lolgorian Police Station have recovered an AK-47 rifle, cutting short the reign of terror of a syndicate linked to a wave of murders, violent robberies, and burglaries. Acting on intelligence, the officers trailed the suspects to Olakira, where they caught the miscreants red-handed breaking into a local pub and packing assorted alcoholic drinks. On spotting the police, the trio abandoned their loot, hopped onto a standby getaway motorcycle, and sped into the pitch-black night. Determined to bring the suspects to book, the officers gave chase, cornering the thugs at Olkilorit area. Defying orders to surrender, the desperate criminals opened fire on the police, triggering a fierce shootout. The officers responded with calibrated, lethal force, fatally injuring two suspects. However, one suspect managed to escape with gunshot wounds. At the scene, the officers recovered an AK-47 rifle with a magazine loaded with two rounds of ammunition, 2 Maasai swords, a claw hammer, a Red Boxer Motorcycle, assorted alcoholic beverages, and other items. The bodies of the fallen thugs were moved to the Transmara West Sub-County Hospital Level 4 Mortuary for preservation and autopsy, while the recovered items have been secured as exhibits. Meanwhile, officers are pursuing crucial leads to trail and apprehend the suspect who escaped with gunshot wounds. This operation underscores the National Police Service’s commitment to smoke out armed criminal gangs through intelligence-led operations across the country. #FichuaKwaDCI. SUSPECT IN USDT 431, 380 GOLD SCAM NABBED IN KILIMANI  A woman believed to be the mastermind behind a gold scam that fleeced an American national of USDT 431,380 has been arrested by detectives domiciled at the DCI Nairobi Regional Headquarters. The con game began with sweet promises and polished deals, as the smooth-talking suspects convinced the foreign investor they could supply 400 kilograms of genuine gold bars. Hooked by the seemingly lucrative deal, the American national flew into Nairobi to seal the agreement, unaware he was stepping straight into a carefully staged trap. Everything appeared convincing, as documents were drawn, negotiations held, and once the fraudulent agreement was signed, the victim transferred millions into the suspects’ bank accounts believing the gold shipment would be delivered as agreed. But no sooner had the cash hit the accounts than the so-called “gold dealers” vanished into thin air. Calls went unanswered, and not a single gram of gold was delivered. It then dawned on the victim that he had been taken for a ride, prompting him to report the matter to the DCI. Detectives immediately launched a painstaking manhunt, piecing together forensic leads that eventually led them to Crystal Villas in Kilimani, where the prime suspect, Mildred Kache aka Sabreena Ayesha was cornered and arrested. Her accomplice, Ibrahim Yusuf Mohamed, however, sensed the detectives closing in and slipped through the net, abandoning a black Mercedes-Benz E50 registration number KCV 910C. The vehicle was seized and towed to the Nairobi Regional Headquarters yard where it is being detained as exhibit in the ongoing investigations. While Mildred is currently cooling her heels in police custody undergoing processing ahead of her arraignment, detectives are hot on the heels of the other suspect who managed to evade capture. #FichuaKwaDCI. MULTI-AGENCY TEAM REPULSES BANDITS AND RECOVERS STOLEN LIVESTOCK DURING ONGOING OPERATION MALIZA UHALIFU IN ISIOLO Operation Maliza Uhalifu continues to record significant progress in the fight against banditry and livestock theft, as multi-agency security teams intensify operations aimed at restoring peace and protecting livelihoods in affected regions. The sustained operation has seen security personnel maintain heightened vigilance, rapid response mechanisms and coordinated patrols in areas prone to criminal attacks. It was within this security framework that an incident unfolded yesterday in Kona Village, Ngaremara, Isiolo County, when suspected bandits raided livestock belonging to local herders. The attack sparked fear and tension as the armed criminals attempted to drive away the animals under the cover of the vast, rugged terrain. Upon receiving reports of the raid, a multi-agency security team swiftly mobilised and launched an immediate pursuit operation targeting the suspected bandits. Acting with speed and coordination, the officers pursued the criminals in a determined effort to prevent the stolen livestock from being moved further away or hidden in remote areas. Through prompt intervention and sustained pursuit, the security team successfully managed to recover 100 sheep and goats that had been stolen during the raid. This successful operation once again demonstrates the effectiveness of coordinated multi-agency security efforts under Operation Maliza Uhalifu, which continues to strengthen rapid response capabilities, enhance security presence and disrupt criminal activities. The National Police Service continues to urge members of the public to cooperate closely with law enforcement agencies by sharing timely and credible information that may assist in combating insecurity, tracking down criminals and protecting communities from future attacks. The Service remains committed to sustaining operations within affected areas to ensure lasting peace, stability and safety for all residents.

The law enforcers sealed their remarkable campaign with a hard-fought 1–0 victory against Madira Soccer Assassins FC in front of a jubilant home crowd at the Police Sacco Stadium in South C, Nairobi. The season finale showcased the champion mentality that has defined the Bullets all year. A clinical 40th-minute strike by star forward Rebecca Okwaro, beautifully set up by Margaret Kunihira, proved to be the decisive goal. The victory sparked ecstatic celebrations during the post-match trophy presentation, where players, technical staff and fans celebrated a legendary "three-peat" achieved in just their third season in the top flight. Under a disciplined and tactically superior coaching regime, the Bullets put together an elite season that left no doubt as to who rules women's football in Kenya. They finished the league with an impressive 58 points, pulling five points clear at the top of the standings ahead of their closest military rivals, Ulinzi Starlets, who finished second. With domestic dominance safely secured, Kenya Police Bullets FC now shift their focus to international assignments. The three-time champions will fly Kenya's flag on the regional stage as they prepare for the upcoming CAF Women's Champions League CECAFA Zonal qualifiers later this year. The National Police Service extends its deepest gratitude to the technical bench, the tireless players and the unwavering fans, whose vocal energy at the Police Sacco Stadium powered the team across the finish line. Salute to the back-to-back-to-back champions.
