Al-Julani thugs have taken over A church in Maharda, syria and turned it into a military site while taking down the crosses from the church and a shrine next to it. The Christian community, like the Druze community in Syria are under constant threat.

A rally for Silvana Atef in Mississauga Canada was organized by Coptic Solidarity and Good News journal. The rally was rhe third one following Paris and Montreal, and will not be the last as Copts start casting away their fears and standing up to defend their daughters and to show support to Silvana’s family. The main ask is law enforcement, end of impunity in crimes against Copts, and first and foremost for Silvana to come home. #SilvanaAtefFanous

Coptic Solidarity Canada has organized a peaceful protest to raise awareness about Silvana’s case and the wider situation facing Copts in Egypt. The rally will take place on Sunday at Main St., Mississauga from 2 pm to 5 pm. Supporters are also encouraged to contact their representatives regarding H. Res. 776 in the 119th Congress, a resolution expressing concern about the escalating threats facing Coptic Christians. Messages can be sent to U.S. Representatives through the advocacy link below. f.mtr.cool/quchgfncpl A Coptic minor, Silvana Atef Fanous, who has a mental disability, was abducted, raped, and forced to convert to Islam. Egyptian authorities, including a chief prosecutor and police officials, are alleged to bear responsibility for this crime, as the abductor’s father is a police officer and police reportedly collaborated in failing to return her to her family. f.mtr.cool/eakgolfcli
