@cmdrbob558 @PAC_Paramedic COPR has such an agreement of trans provincial license recognition in place in times of disaster or specialty teams. (TEMS and HUSAR specifically mentioned). I believe Ontario is the only hold out.

CSA Z1660, National competency framework for paramedics, makes it easier to get certified in other Canadian prov but an agreement like the EMS Compact on top of it could be of great benefit for multiple reasons including during disasters. emscompact.gov @PAC_Paramedic

So if I understand correctly: not testing for COVID patients who are admitted to the hospital will allow you to not cohort COVID + patients and later after a patient acquires COVID in hospital, you will be able to say "we did not know, we hadn't tested..." @VanIslandHealth 1/3

@ravenairservice It’s ridiculous and it does make a difference. Even when there is a airport/heliport “just down the road.” Hopefully, a future addition was built into the design at least.

@Coq83 New hospital currently under construction in #Terrace . My understanding is a helipad was considered in the design stage but will not be included when project completed.
