@itsamini @MatrixMysteries Grok ranks where I live 6th as having the highest poverty level. Still see people wasting. Still too many haves vs. have-nots.

@CoreChamber @MatrixMysteries People are buying less, people are putting groceries on credit, that can only last a few months. I lived through a recession this is what it looked like. Nobody buying homes or cars, we were all just hanging on by our fingernails

A 16-piece meal at Popeyes is now over $50. A BUCKET of chicken… over $50. Fast food used to be the cheap, quick option. This isn’t just inflation. It’s price gouging.

@itsbullionaire_ Yet people are selling $MSFT, $META, and $NOW at 52-week lows. Not saying you're wrong, just that the market is not looking for good companies but a quick payday.

Who looks at $GOOGL at $382 and thinks sell when this will easily be a $1,000 stock someday?

Feeds 4 people realisticly. Most want a breast. Wings count but mostly never eat or have much value. 35-40% price increase over 3 years. It's not sit-down premium food. It's chicken. We have not had a chicken shortage like beef. Overinflated compared to the cost of making it at home.

FINAL update : Furniture Shopping with wife Me + Wife : At the “Source” Wife can’t believe we got everything $500 off retail that was quoted to us at Ashley + no tax (cash only) Saved some money, got a new couch, sofa set and gained a little bit of respect from the wife (maybe) but most importantly have a fun story to tell friends. *MISSION ACCOMPLISHED*

@CoreChamber @MatrixMysteries So now you're just making your own pricing? Cool. Yes, cooking at home is cheaper, but feeding 6-8 people for $50 isn't outrageous imho.

If there were a recession, we could not get to this price. Prices go up when people have more to pay; otherwise, it gets more competitive. Inflation means more people can buy and there is less supply. A recession causes more people to buy less, increasing supply and reducing costs. Thats not happening right now.

@financedystop Get something more efficient and smaller. It's $1.00 (27%) more per gallon in most cases—not life-changing. And again, if it is, you probably chose wrong when purchasing your vehicle.

People at the pump are getting absolutely cooked out here. Over $100 to fill up her truck even with a discount.

@_AsiwajuLerry It was a planned explosion. The plan was a soft landing in the Indian Ocean, then to blow it up, which is exactly what happened and why they're celebrating. Despite in-flight issues with both Starship and the booster, they still managed to execute their plan. A huge success!

@BrianRoemmele Depends on who you are replacing. It is cheap enough to cut fat and make everyone more efficient. It's not meant to replace the entire workforce as the narrative suggests. Compute was given away to generate buzz; soon that will come to an end.

@AskYoshik You lump-summed the investment and assumed Microsoft would make it back in a few quarters. People said the same thing about Amazon when it was running at negative margins.

The AI bubble math doesn't add up. Anthropic spends $3 to make $1 and that’s before you include any and all other costs like staff or electricity. Microsoft dumped $300B in capex, made ~$18B in AI revenue. OpenAI and Anthropic alone make up 43-54% of Microsoft, Google, Amazon and Oracle's entire revenue backlogs. Enterprises are burning through annual AI budgets in 4 months with zero measurable ROI. This is the most expensive science experiment in history, funded by your SaaS subscriptions.

@CarsonTalkMoney @grok Yeah, I agree; it's not going out of business. I think most are afraid of the risk of slower growth.

@CoreChamber @grok I think $ADBE for sure has the most risk, but it’s all priced in IMO (well I though) Now I’m starting to think it could continue to get cheaper

This is what I’m talking about Every time SAAS has a good day, $ADBE underperforms… every time it has a bad day, it does about the same I’m fine with bag holding something like $SOFI and $GRAB because the business in firing on all cylinders, but $ADBE has a lot of Ai fears and will permanently trade at a reduced multiple IMO Will $ADBE do fine? Yes absolutely (IMO) But what will double my money faster? $CELH, $GRAB, $SOFI and many others! That’s why I’m debating whether to sell or not It’s not because I think $ADBE is bad, but the opportunity cost is really bad… they also don’t have a CEO I trust to lead the company anymore The more I think about it, the more I agree with @HolySmokas

I just got done watching @HolySmokas video and he sold $ADBE today What’s your thoughts on this move? I was actually thinking of doing this too, I like $ZETA and $NOW more It feels like everyday they are the worse performer in my portfolio, which hurts my desire to hold. Their earnings have been pretty mid and not impressive I’ll probably wait till they report earnings again, but if they continue to report solid, but not good earnings I’ll be selling $CELH and $NOW are two positions I would love to build with the proceeds

Just read the Bloomberg report on Bungie. - There is no Destiny 3. - There will be mass layoffs. - They are doubling down on Marathon. - They are prototyping new game ideas. I don't know man. It just feels like Bungie is kind of done.
