@Farsol4 @nerdlunch Wow. Just wow. Actually that was the most amazing hour of Star Wars in a long time. New worlds, long-term story-telling, just the right mix of nostalgia and easter eggs. You hot take is wrong.

@nerdlunch There was a point in the 51 minute run-time that I looked at Izzy and said similarly that I felt like much of that exposition had wasted my time. I was curious about the need for such filler to advance the story.

So @JamesGunn is clearly having too much fun with ‘The Suicide Squad’, my fav comic book movie in many a moon. I really admire his go for broke nuttiness in this, but it’s all anchored in a crisp style that feels like you’re ripping through a 6 issue limited series. Hats off JG x
