Bill Maher says he's open to voting for JD Vance in 2028. Over the last 15 years I've watched so many "heterodox, pro-freedom" voices on the right drop the mask the moment it actually mattered. Not surprised Maher's next. The far left can be bad. But after the most corrupt presidency of our lifetime, the most anti-free-speech administration, the most pro-war candidate in a generation, masked thugs killing Americans in the streets, and DHS promising to jail election officials, "I'd vote MAGA because DSA activists are crazy" is a deranged take. Trump is President. Vance is his Vice President, is far more radical, and wants to go further than Trump ever did. At best, DSA is a minority voice in the party and isn't actively trying to end elections.

Any individual is capable of moral failing. Racism is based on systemic oppression. You don’t have to like the answer but at its core, that’s the definition of the word. Your argument is that prejudice = racism when they are not.
