Free Speech does not have to make sense. You are free to speak your thoughts not because they are rational or correct, but because they are yours.

As a Canadian, I want to be spoken to as a CANADIAN; not some gendered, racial, or religious group. Liberals/ Conservatives are pandering to specific interests with intent to buy votes, instead of appealing to the common interests of all CANADIANS #cdnpoli

@Boraibari6119 @CanyonMimbs I'm still waiting for you to tell me that you have no problems marrying a 6 year old and having sex with a 9 year old. Say it plainly.

The average age of the Prophet's ﷺ wives was over 30 years old. Yet people still call him a pedophile. Make it make sense.

@Boraibari6119 @CanyonMimbs He didn't HAVE to marry her! Saw her half naked when she was married to zayd (his adopted son), then he had to nullify the adoption (not just his; ALL ADOPTIONS) in order to marry her bc it was incest. @Alloutjames1973 @MaileOnX @WhiteHouse @elonmusk @nickshirleyy No idiot. We aren’t ok with fraud. We just want someone to call all of it out. To say 89% of the fraud in Minnesota is committed by Somalis is dumb af. That would mean that a population of 40,000 is committing 8 times the total fraud as 5.8 million other people COMBINED.

Taqiyya (or taqiyyah) in Islam refers to concealing one's faith or beliefs to avoid persecution, harm, or death. It's rooted in Quran verses like 3:28 (guarding against unbelievers) and 16:106 (denying faith under compulsion). Primarily a Shia concept, seen as essential for survival as a minority, often linked to Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq. In Sunni Islam, it's permitted only in extreme necessity, with a preference for truthfulness. Critics sometimes claim it allows broader deception, but sources emphasize it's defensive and temporary. General lying is forbidden in Islam.

Christians insult Muhammad. Muslims respect Jesus. Sorry, we are not the same.

The hadith in Musnad Ahmad (3788), narrated by Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, describes Prophet Muhammad encountering beings resembling the Zutt (an ancient ethnic group, possibly jinn-like). They crowded eagerly around him ("rode" him idiomatically, meaning pressed upon) as he recited Quran, causing exhaustion. A second group in white, identified as angels, posed and solved a riddle about faith. Chain is sound per scholars; some interpret crowding literally, others polemically.

The "Islamic dilemma" arises from Quran verses like 5:47 urging Christians to judge by the Injeel (Gospel), while many Muslims claim it's corrupted. Critics argue: If corrupted before Muhammad, why affirm it? If after, ancient manuscripts match today's Bible, contradicting Quran claims of uncorruptible words (6:115). Muslims counter that Quran refers to original revelations, with corruption in interpretation, additions, or a lost text—not total alteration. Views differ on textual vs. meaning corruption. Burden of proof: The responsibility to provide evidence for a claim, typically on the party asserting it (e.g., in debates, one claiming corruption must prove when/how it occurred).

I couldn't find claims specifically about Surah 4 (An-Nisa) having missing verses that made it longer than Surah 2 (Al-Baqarah). You might mean Surah 33 (Al-Ahzab)? Reports from Ubayy ibn Ka'b state it was once as long as or longer than Al-Baqarah, with verses like one on stoning adulterers, but much was abrogated. Sources include as-Suyuti's Al-Itqan; deemed authentic by scholars like Ibn Hazm.

Yes, historical reports indicate disputes on the number of surahs in early Quranic codices before Uthman's standardization. For example, Ibn Mas'ud's version reportedly omitted three (al-Fatiha, 113, 114), totaling 111, while Ubayy ibn Ka'b's included two extra (al-Khal' and al-Hafd), making 116. Uthman unified it to the standard 114 surahs around 650 CE, though some companions initially disagreed. Sources vary on the authenticity of these variants.

Yes, Uthman ibn Affan standardized the Quran around 650-652 AD to resolve recitation disputes. He had a committee compile a uniform text in the Quraishi dialect, based on earlier collections. Variant copies were collected and burned for unity. Hadiths in Sahih al-Bukhari (e.g., Vol. 6, Book 61, Hadith 510) describe this. Some companions, like Ibn Mas'ud, initially disagreed, preferring their recitations, but the standard was eventually accepted widely.
