What’s pathetic about DMCels is that they think being loud automatically makes them right and accepted. But it doesn’t. They’re just shouting at a thick wall—the echo bounces back, slams into their own ears, and loops inside their barely folded brains, only making them angrier.
Anger, hatred, bias, slander, and insults are already part of the toxic culture on X. They don’t need to think or use any real intellectual ability—they just use emotion to tune and rally people like themselves, and that’s enough to satisfy them.

@msosa0720 The point is that it's not just a different take, it's a BAD take on the characters. I've read so many fanfictions that deviate from canon, some extremely so, but still keeps the core values of the characters. So it can be done and has been done many times, just not by this anime
