@autocorrect2_0 It’s gaining the world as well as your soul. Part of this is what makes me a little uncomfortable about Nicki Minaj too. And Russell Brand (who I don’t think is a Christian). But it probably is more about me than it is about them, I will admit.

@autocorrect2_0 I think the thing that got me the most was the realization that most people simply use Christianity as a get out of jail free card They will have their fun while they’re young, then settle down for some simp with no consequences. Almost as a part of life.

There’s a really strong chance that if you hated the redemption story of that woman you’re not saved. Those who can’t extend grace haven’t received it.

My wife was formerly promiscuous. I was a virgin. She was then radically born-again. Committed to church, evangelized constantly, Puritan books in her bedroom, prayer journals, grief over past sexual sin, etc. We got to know each other well for over a year, dated for four months, engaged for two and a half, and didn't sin sexually with one another. Our first kiss with each other was at the altar on our wedding day (reaction pic attached!). We've been married for over five years now, and she's been the most wonderful and godly wife, mother to our three children, and homemaker you could imagine. She's more pure than most virgins, as biblical purity has less to with past sins (though they certainly matter) and more to do with one's current posture of the heart and daily decisions to honor the Lord (Matt. 5:8). We're far too quick to forget the story of the woman labeled as a known "sinner" (likely a prostitute) in Luke 7:36-50 who was washing Jesus' feet with her tears while kissing them too. The Pharisees were shocked that Jesus let a public sinner do this. Jesus responded with a parable about debts being forgiven and ended with this powerful conclusion: "Her many sins have been forgiven; that’s why she loved much. But the one who is forgiven little, loves little" (Luke 7:47). Everyone seems to highlight the benefits of virginity, and it certainly is a blessing. But we forget to highlight the benefits of being forgiven much as well. My wife knows the depths of Jesus' forgiveness more than most people, enabling her to more easily live out a life of passionate love for her Savior. A woman or man's past sexual sin matters. But what matters far more when it comes to deciding who to marry is if the person is truly born again, if their repentance is real, if they truly have a heart for Christ, if they truly follow Jesus and obey his commands. "God has chosen what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen what is weak in the world to shame the strong. God has chosen what is insignificant and despised in the world — what is viewed as nothing — to bring to nothing what is viewed as something, so that no one may boast in his presence. It is from him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became wisdom from God for us — our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, — in order that, as it is written: 'Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.'" (1 Cor. 1:27-31) "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!" (2 Cor. 5:17)

If there's one thing I wish I could help people understand it's when to be fully transparent and when to obfuscate the details... "We came from different backgrounds but found each other through God's love..." Awesome. Cool story. We're listening. "She used to get railroaded by every fella in town, but I couldn't get no pussy..." Sigh... goddamnit dude

This tweet perfectly encapsulates the problem with modern Christianity. The religion has become deeply emasculated & feminine, powerless to impose & enforce cultural and social norms. It has devolved into an ideological accessory at best, something people "wear" to convey an image of moral virtue. It has especially been pernicious to men, as it asks men to make sacrifices while excusing women for their behavior. This is what Charlie Kirk got wrong and was a big reason why his impact wasn't as powerful as it could've been.

Because it's a humiliation ritual designed to emasculate Christian men and make them look weak. It demands men be "real men" by "stepping up" and marrying women massive baggage, thus lowers standards for women and encourages them to continue sin because they will be bailed out.

Libido and erection quality are not determined by testosterone alone. Dopamine plays a central role in sexual motivation and arousal. After ejaculation, prolactin rises → temporarily suppresses dopamine (refractory phase). Add chronic porn overstimulation → desensitization + conditioned arousal. Lower sensitivity = lower libido, weaker erections, more reliance on intense stimuli.

None of these people actually worship Satan, but if you were to ask most people why they use Satanic iconography they would say it is ironic or about inverting hierarchical structures or an attempt to reclaim their power in the world or it just looks cool. Okay, why does it look cool? Because it presents the profane as seductive and beautiful. So, in essence, pretending to worship Satan by using his image is not functionally any different than actually worshipping Satan. Many things are like this. The power is not in your belief or consent. It exists within the functional purpose of the thing itself.
