Alex Scott breaks silence as BBC axes Football Focus after huge collapse in viewing figures. The 41-year-old presenter revealed she had already decided to quit the long-running show before the BBC pulled the plug. Football Focus has been scrapped in its current format after years of declining audiences. Fans of the show have been brutal, with many saying: “The show died the moment Alex Scott took over, turned the show into a joke of its former self.” Another added: “I stopped watching when she took over.” The BBC has confirmed the programme will not return in its traditional Saturday lunchtime slot next season. Good Morning Britain viewers slam Ranvir Singh for aggressive 'car crash' interview with James Cleverly. The 48-year-old presenter repeatedly interrupted and talked over the Shadow Home Secretary as he outlined Tory plans to ban full-time council staff working four-day weeks. Ranvir kept steering the chat onto adult social care underfunding, snapping: “Why aren’t you getting stuck into that this morning? That is where the real pinch point is.” Cleverly stayed calm and tried to finish his point, but viewers flooded X calling her rude, aggressive and “completely lost her nut.” One said: “How rude is this woman?”
