Have a little more context on Jihaad Campbell’s shoulder injury, which #Eagles DC Vic Fangio told @JClarkNBCS would keep the second-year LB out for most of the offseason. Campbell dealt with the injury for most of his rookie season despite undergoing surgery before last year’s draft. He dropped to the Eagles at No. 31 partly due to concerns about the shoulder. Campbell still played in every game in his first NFL season. He had another surgery not long after last season ended and is already on the mend, per a source close to Campbell. He is expected back by training camp and is slated to step into the off-ball LB spot left vacant when Nakobe Dean signed with the Raiders. The Eagles still believe he can flex out to the edge if needed, but that is TBD.

@krukforprez @Beardaknowledge I knew what you were saying. What I am saying is that for the Edge position they both play, Hendrickson plays it better in the scheme he is in. Not too many plays Phillips dropped back into Zone on the Eagles. He was pinning his ears back and being told to go after the QB.
