This is a very valid question, and you’re not alone in noticing it. The issue comes from how time was counted in ancient Jewish culture versus how we count it today. In modern thinking, “three days and three nights” means a full 72 hours. But in Jewish reckoning at the time of Jesus, any part of a day could be counted as a full day. This is often called inclusive counting. So: Friday (before sunset) = Day 1 Saturday (full day) = Day 2 Sunday (early morning) = Day 3 That’s why many Christians say Jesus rose “on the third day,” even though it wasn’t a full 72 hours. However, you are also right to point out Gospel of Matthew 12:40, where Jesus says “three days and three nights,” which sounds more literal. This is where interpretations differ: Some believe it’s a figure of speech (common in Hebrew expression). Others argue Jesus may have been crucified on Thursday or even Wednesday, not Friday. And some say the traditional Good Friday–Easter Sunday timeline is more symbolic than exact.

I have a question for we Christians. Sincerely asking. 24 hours make a day, and 72 make up three days; Since this is common knowledge, how come Good Friday to Easter Sunday is just two days and a few hours, since Jesus resurrected after the third day? And it's a fact that Jesus himself said that he will be in the tomb for three DAYS and three NIGHTS, (Matthew 12 vs 40). And the book of Leviticus 23: vs 32 proofs that 24 hours is considered a full day, since according to ancient times, Hebrews counted a full day as sunset to sunset, 24 long hrs. Now here is the confusion, did he rise on the third day, or after three days? Was he really crucified on Friday, or was it on Thursday? Did the church make a mistake in their calculation, or is it accurate? Note: This is for the purpose of learning.

@Tenoverten101 and some are on spaces blaming the APC for their own failures. When I see the report from from @inecnigeria I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, opposition parties in Nigeria are not serious about taking over government. Honestly, it’s frustrating to watch. At this rate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu might just win again… and that’s a tough reality to accept.

Pray for Iran. Pray for the designs of the Jews to fail. At all we could do, Iran is fighting for the whole world right now. And don't get me wrong, I'm not praying for more casualties; I want that to stop. I want the United States to be finished. But Iran right now is fighting for all of humanity. They really are. Then again, they're fighting for us. Because if Iran fails, it means Israel controls the entire Middle East, and the power that Iran exercises is over the straight over the Red Sea. That's what Israel wants. That's what Israel's playing for. They want that power over our government. They want that power over the Gulf. They want that power over all the trade. Read all the commerce, all the supply chains, everything that goes through the Middle East. They want all of it. And never forget: they are a nuclear-armed intelligence superpower with a fifth column in the United States, Europe, Russia; increasingly, they're spreading their tentacles. Even into Asia. If Iran can shut Shut them down. Nobody can trump, can't, or won't. The United States, Russia, and Europe can't. It is literally Iran, a country that has turned itself into a fortress for this eventuality. They're fighting for all of us; Iran is fighting for all the goyim. Make no mistake about it: if we, the United States, were challenging Israel, the weight Iran has, they would be murdering us, they'd be bombing our schools, they'd be assassinating our leaders, they would be killing our soldiers, and they would be doing the same thing to everyone who stands in their way. They give the Gaza treatment. Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Iran. That's not Iran thereafter. Israel is after you; Iran is just in the way. Never forget that. Israel is not after Iran and the Ayatollah. Israel is after you. It's just Iran that is in the way.

Africa’s Real Challenge: The Power of Belief Systems If you ask an average African today what the continent’s biggest problem is, nine out of ten people will say leadership. While leadership is indeed a challenge, it may not be the root problem. The deeper issue lies in something more fundamental: belief systems. To truly fix Africa, we must first examine and reshape what people believe. 1. Belief Shapes Behavior 2. Belief is the foundation of human behavior. 3. People act the way they do because of what they believe. If you want to change how people behave, you must first change what they believe. From Belief to Culture When a belief is shared by many people, it influences behavior on a large scale. Over time, these shared behaviors become culture. For example: If a community believes in a religion, it will naturally adopt practices tied to that religion. When everyone participates, those practices become cultural traditions. Culture Drives the Economy Culture determines what people buy, sell, and value. In other words, culture shapes the market, and the market drives the economy. For instance: In a community where pork is not consumed, selling pork products will fail. Why? Because the belief system does not support it. So the chain becomes clear: Belief → Behavior → Culture → Market → Economy The Economic Impact of Belief Belief systems have a direct influence on economic activity. Take the example of celebrations: Certain holidays lead to increased spending. People buy clothes, food, decorations, and gifts. But often, many of these goods are imported. This means: Some societies see these events as opportunities to spend money Others see them as opportunities to make money This difference in mindset reveals a deeper issue tied to belief and orientation. Belief and Leadership Even the leadership problem is connected to belief. Leaders act based on what they believe about life, society, and the future. If a leader believes their time on earth is temporary and not worth long-term investment, they may lack the vision needed for sustainable development. On the other hand, leaders who believe in building lasting systems are more likely to invest in infrastructure and national growth. The Need for Ownership of Belief Systems One critical point is this: A society must have control over its own belief systems. Why? Because: 1. Whoever shapes beliefs influences behavior 2. Behavior shapes culture 3. Culture drives the economy Ultimately, whoever controls belief systems can influence economic outcomes. A Call for Reflection Africa must begin to reflect deeply on its values, traditions, and belief structures. This does not necessarily mean rejecting external influences, but rather: Understanding them Adapting them wisely Ensuring they serve local development Conclusion Africa’s challenges go beyond leadership. At the core lies a powerful force: belief. To achieve lasting progress: 1. Re-examine belief systems 2. Align them with growth and development 3. Build cultures that support innovation and productivity Only then can Africa shape its own future, economically, socially, and politically.

Sowore’s consistency is what sets him apart. While many politicians only speak when it benefits them, he has remained vocal, even at great personal risk. From protests to courtrooms, he has shown that he is willing to sacrifice his freedom for the principles he believes in. The silence of institutions like the Nigerian Bar Association during such critical moments only reinforces the idea that true change in Nigeria may not come from established systems, but from individuals who are ready to challenge them. Sowore represents courage, accountability, and a fearless demand for justice. Whether one agrees with all his views or not, his track record of activism and resistance gives him a level of credibility that many career politicians simply don’t have. #Sowore2027

The only so-called achievement of the APC is clinging to PBAT’s “Renewed Hope,” which for many Nigerians has turned into renewed hardship and disappointment. It’s time to hold leaders accountable and choose a path that truly frees the people from economic struggle and modern-day hardship.

Let's be factual... Tinubu and @OfficialAPCNg understand grassroots politics. From what I see so far, people are still willing to suffer and still vote for Tinubu. It's surprising; people are quite naive, wearing his caps and clothes and calling for continuity. He's a very strategic criminal politician. The opposition needs to wake up. But I will be here to laugh at you again when you vote against @sowore. You will buy fuel at 5k.
