@pkmncast Want to know what’s worse in general 1. Horn drill will always fail if you use it on a Pokémon who’s faster than yours. Meaning it’s entirely useless as most Pokémon will be faster than rhydon

@Sumibubbles Honestly as much as I love talking to the viewers who do chat. Sometimes it’s nice to just have people lurking and I can focus more on just playing with random commentary about whatever.

My partner watches streams on Twitch daily. Has been since it was still JustinTV. He barely ever chats. He uses streams like boomers use TV. Why should his view be less worthy just because he does not feel like engaging? Not everyone wants to talk to the person on screen.

@AngryArlo @MadamSavvy Yeah that’s basically always been the point. Have them feel more as cosplays for said hero over the crossover character being in the game. But yeah that’s why they’re mad.

The hair on Vendetta probably could've used more work tbh. Otherwise, wasn't their goal with collabs to be more like cosplay anyway? So they met that expectation?

@AngryArlo @MadamSavvy Basically… It’s because of the skins being on characters who don’t fit the body types, the fact it looks nothing like they’re in game models, it’s more cosplay than representation. However OW2 skins for collabs have all been like this tbh. Mostly cosplay. Except the gundam ones

@SamQuinnCBS After playing gen 1 three times back to back for future videos. Gen 1 isn’t hard. It’s just so stupid with luck and AI and broken mechanics. It ends up being tedious at times. Fun but tedious. However tedious doesn’t mean it’s hard.

Early Pokemon games were easy because Pokemon is a broadly simple concept that’s relatively easy to master at the base game level.
Later Pokemon games are easy because your Pokemon can randomly decide it loves you too much to let a super effective move knock it out.

@Dimememem @PokemonGems Especially when you can get many ground/rock types way earlier that hit harder. Like you can get nidoking before even beating Misty if you really wanted and then you get dig not long after. Nidoking very much can use dig way better.

@PokemonGems look from a modern perspective yes but keep in mind TMs were single use. pokemon learning few good moves via level up and having to syphon all TMs into it makes it kind of a hard pokemon to use

@plus_sign @PokemonGems Yeah being stuck with ember or teaching it fire blast with a TM just for it to still be a physical attacker is rough with flareon. You get flamethrower at level 54…..

What this means for those confused. The 8th gym leader leaves for good after you fight him. Because the game is marking a flag that says he fought him. He can’t get the 8th gym badge anymore without doing underflow or hacking. He’s no longer able to beat the game

If you want more reasons why you should just play the remakes over these. As someone who grew up with these games. I just watched my friend stream these titles. About 24 hours into them just to get soft locked because the game somehow triggered that he got the 8th gyms TM.

I find it really funny that in my Chikorita video I argued that it's easier to beat Falkner with Chikorita than to beat Brock with Charmander and people were like "but Charmander gets Metal Claw!!!"
And I was like "lol we are not talking about the same games"
