I live near a tiny, oddly convenient airport that only had Spirit flights. With Spirit winding down today, those routes are gone. Have to always go to the larger, farther airports now. Rough day for all the workers at that airport, too.
Elizabeth Warren@SenWarren

I've warned for months that a @JetBlue-@SpiritAirlines merger would have led to fewer flights and higher fares. @JusticeATR and @USDOT were right to stand up for consumers and fight against runaway airline consolidation. This is a Biden win for flyers! apnews.com/article/jetblu…

@Acyn This idiot. So in the future there will not be campaign events for elections on arenas? The problem is not fixed by building a ballroom, it is fixed by securing event location well. Will the president not travel internationally ever again either?

This feels just as weird as the Butler photo op moment. I’m no conspiracy theorist but if there were actual shots fired here - why the hell would the President return to that location tonight? Secret Service would have no way of confirming if it was a single gunman or larger plot so fast and would *never* let the program continue with officials there

Bitcoin Beach
Bitcoin Beach@Bitcoinbeach·
At Bitcoin Beach, we’ve seen firsthand how the global fiat system relies on "unjust weights and measures." The very thing Scripture warns us against! But we have also seen what happens when we finally embrace a tool designed for truth... In our latest episode, I sit down with @jordanbush and @iAhsh to explore why we believe Biblical stewardship in the modern age now requires Bitcoin. We do something uncommon in this conversation: we explore Bitcoin through the lens of morality, ethics, and spirituality. From that angle, we tackle why central banking has become a false idol and how bankers "playing God" is actively stifling human flourishing. We share real stories of impact from our work here in El Salvador and across Kenya and India. It is becoming clear that for the Church to thrive and for missions to remain sovereign, we must look toward the future of sound money. It’s time to move from the world of deceptive fiat into the world of honest, God-given, and perfect math. No matter where on the spirituality spectrum you land, this thought-provoking conversation will challenge your perspective on what money truly represents and the moral cost of the system we’ve left behind. The most dangerous thing in Washington right now isn't just the corruption—it's the retaliation against the people who expose it. When government power is used in ways that appear designed to intimidate a journalist for revealing potential abuses, the message is unmistakable: be quiet or be targeted. That’s how fear replaces truth. That’s how a free press is pushed toward silence. And that’s how democracies start to collapse.

Android > IOS. To me Android has always been about freedom to choose. I never owned an iphone. Although I did use ipods and ipads extensively at one time. Android gives you the choice the decide what kind of phone you want. If you want something with less bloatware. Have you explored using Pixel with GrapheneOS?

@LynAldenContact Is your conviction for Bitcoin the same post financialization (post ETFs), and did 2025 full year Bitcoin surprise you? It is the first time in a while when the market overall is green and Bitcoin tanks. (2026 full year) Self custody in the US seems to be a dying priority for many. Is this bad for Bitcoin on your view ?

Honestly, when I saw this picture of Trump I didn't think of Jesus at all. He looks more like an apostle is healing sick people. I'm a very strong born-again Christian. I wasn't even remotely offended. 99% of the people who were offended by this hated Trump anyway.

Pressure is building in Venezuela. Unlike China, the USA cannot fully supply Venezuela with the goods it needs. America lacks the production capacity and the supply networks required to support the entire country. The key issue is thay even with American sanctions in place, Venezuela under Maduro was still able to trade with China. They exchanged oil for products, medicines, and other essential goods on a barter basis. After relations with China broke down, inflation exploded. It reached 649.5 percent by March 2026. The International Monetary Fund expects it to go above 682 percent by the end of the year. Right now Venezuelas oil money is being sent to a special account controlled by the US Treasury. Remember that the United States has also essentially seized Venezuelas gold reserves. These moves are speeding up the collapse of the national currency. The situation is spiraling out of control.

Milk Road AI
Milk Road AI@MilkRoadAI·
This is WILD The US government just called an emergency meeting with the most powerful bank CEOs on Wall Street, and the reason has nothing to do with interest rates or a market crash. It was about a single AI model that government officials believe can break into nearly every computer system on earth. Anthropic just built something so dangerous that they refused to release it to the public. Instead, they quietly handed access to only 40 handpicked corporations, including Apple, Microsoft, Google, and JPMorgan through a secret initiative called Project Glasswing. The model is called Mythos, and Anthropic's own internal documents describe it as "far ahead of any other AI model in cyber capabilities" in a way that would allow attackers to outpace defenders. Mythos can autonomously identify and exploit vulnerabilities across every major operating system and every major web browser on the planet, according to people familiar with the model's capabilities. Anthropic decided that releasing it openly would essentially hand a master hacking toolkit to every government, criminal organization, and state-sponsored cyber unit in the world. On April 7th, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell pulled the CEOs of Citigroup, Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo, and Goldman Sachs into a closed-door emergency meeting in Washington. The message delivered in that room was direct, your institutions are now the primary targets of a new class of AI-powered cyberattacks, and your current defenses were not built for what is coming. Chinese state-sponsored hacking groups had already been running coordinated campaigns using an earlier and far weaker version of Claude to infiltrate more than 30 organizations, including financial institutions and government agencies, before Anthropic detected and stopped it. Mythos is dramatically more powerful than the model those hackers were already using which means the baseline threat level just jumped to a category the financial system has never faced before. The US government is now officially treating advanced AI as a systemic financial risk, placing it in the same tier of concern as bank runs, market crashes, and national security emergencies. Project Glasswing is designed to function as the first line of defense, giving the 40 selected companies early access so they can find vulnerabilities and patch them before hostile actors do. But the uncomfortable truth sitting at the center of all of this is that Anthropic itself warned the model's capabilities may outpace everything defenders are currently capable of deploying. The locked door exists, but the people guarding it are not certain the lock will hold against what is coming next.
