Full Official Announcement We are not here to give up on our vision. In this post, we will discuss what went wrong and outline the next steps. Please read until the end, where we’ve included a TL;DR for quick reference... What Went Wrong We launched the CortexZero token ahead of the Mastermind reveal, and it quickly gained traction. As it was our first launch, we hadn’t prepared for such rapid growth. We didn’t have a volume bot, market maker, key opinion leaders (KOLs), investors, or exchanges lined up. We were focused on the tech we were building and expected the token to grow slowly and organically over the next month. Everything happened on the fly, and we adapted as best we could to the (fast) flow. A few prominent figures noticed our project early on, and soon, whales started investing. This rapid influx propelled us to a $9M market cap (MC) at all-time high (ATH). However, as quickly as we rose, we fell. Once one whale sold, others followed, creating a cascade of panic among holders. We don’t blame anyone for this outcome—our lack of supply control allowed such extreme fluctuations. In fact, we’re grateful to the crypto influencers who supported us early, even if things became heated later. To clarify, we didn’t sell any tokens until the MC dropped to around ~$600k after falling from its 9M MC ATH. Our goal has never been about making money. That’s why we didn’t take profits when we had a seven-figure profit. Our primary aim is to build groundbreaking tech, and we remain committed to that goal. That said, we had to sell some of our supply to cover development costs and ensure the project didn’t leave us in a financial deficit; but we held off until the last possible moment when everyone had sold off. To summarize: there was too much hype, too quickly. The same rapid growth that brought us success also exposed us to vulnerabilities due to our lack of supply control. What’s Next Despite an inefficient launch, we reached a $9M MC ATH and built a community of 2,400 holders. It’s rare to see such achievements under these circumstances. Imagine what we could accomplish with proper preparation. Additionally, through Round 1 deployment, we gathered an extremely valuable dataset from a fundamental set of initial games, which we can now analyze thoroughly. This proof-of-concept has shown us that the demand, community, and technology are solid. We remain committed to our vision and roadmap. As we’ve always emphasized, good things take time, and transparency is our priority. In the coming days, we will focus on assembling a team of angel investors, venture capitalists (VCs), blockchain advisors, altcoin project developers, and/or other trusted industry experts. With their guidance, we aim to properly launch our project’s main token—whether through pump.fun or in-house deployment. We cannot simply revive this current token as the top 7 holders, which we do not know, hold 22.76% of the supply bought on this current dip. This time, we’ll ensure the foundation is robust and built with people that have built serious DeSci projects, not memecoins. This will greatly minimize the risk of our project being affected by a few whales who don’t share our vision and allow us to make mistakes. Why We’re Different We are the only multi-agent AI ecosystem project in the market approved for private beta by @PhalaNetwork for TEEs that uses their own in-house framework to provide data-driven insights. Our vision has grown too big to abandon. TL;DR We understand what went wrong and are treating this launch as a proof-of-concept. The demand and technology are clearly present. Now, we are ready to elevate this project with the proper support using the same CortexZero brand. A new token will launch soon as the primary token for the project, and we will continue building as planned. You will always hear official news here first. Additional Updates 1. Round 1 Progress: We’ve displayed the second-generation 64 agents with sub-traits based on Solara’s trait values. 2. Round 2: Release is on pause until the new token launch. 3. Proposal System: We’ve completed the system allowing users to create and upvote proposals using the new token (to be deployed with Round 2 countdown). 4. Voting Mechanism: Only holders of the new token will be able to vote for agents (to be deployed with Round 2 countdown). 5. Mastermind Update: We’ve integrated Round 1 results into the Mastermind’s brain and pushed a significant update for greater diversity (to be deployed with Round 2 countdown). 6. FYI, being able to have *something* for our work thus far to be able to set up a treasury - for example - as we re-evaluate our approach does not constitute a change in plans. As many have said, the price action shouldn’t reflect the product because it became clear to us that not many people understood our tech - evidenced to us through the price drop after launch. Round 2 has not deviated from plan, and we needed to make sure that we at least break even given all the time/effort we’ve invested into this project whilst being transparent about it. Just wanted to address this, as we’ve received a few questions.

Thank you for all the support. We learnt our lessons regarding KOLs, token management, and everything. The people that left were not part of the community and didnt trust the tech. We will CONTINUE to build no matter what happens.

Regarding the initial delay which made some people lose faith in us. We were in talks with Kye Gomez through calling/messages, the creator of $swarms, for a potential collaboration, and he said he wants to help us generate our agents and finds our idea very interesting. We agreed, and he never ended up puling through (maybe he got busy or simply tried delaying us). Regardless, this is what made us create our in-house framework - hence the slight delay. Now, we don't want to rely on any other framework devs, but we are still opening to collabs for THEM to use OUR tech. We want to make our framework the best because, frankly, the current frameworks are not suitable for advanced simulation logic; we are currently discussing the possibility of going open-source, either fully or partly.
