People might be wondering... Why? It's not just a simple matter of Woke or DEI. It's because they want to dismantle the hierarchy of "beauty" by deconstructing it. Objective beauty is tied to the perception of fertility, observed genetic compatibility, and fitness. There are a lot of tiny little cues, especially around the face, that indicate things like intelligence, personality, and mental stability. Other subtle features also indicate genetic compatibility for improved offspring fitness. These are well-studied metrics that are observable, and it really is just "common sense". Dismantling the hierarchy allows the ranking of beauty to be scrambled and turned on its head. In theory allowing people who are not attractive to find more attractive mates. It is part of female intersexual competition where they will rate a comparatively less attractive person as more attractive to disrupt the hen pecking order. The problem is... this only works on women, and doesn't work on men. Although women are the gatekeepers of fertility, men still have agency in what they consider "attractive". When too many of these kinds of women entered the entertainment world, they changed the culture and applied that same intersexual competition "mind game" to the industry as a whole. This is why everything is turned more ugly, more bland, more plain, because by elevating the hags, they think in their own twisted minds that they can elevate themselves in relation to these fictional characters. Yes... a lot of these women are jealous of fictional characters, and they want to make sure that they are uglier than themselves so that they don't take too much attention away from "their man". They see objective beauty as oppressive, and they want to destroy it at all costs, even if it ends up destroying the franchise. But it won't work, because mate preferences and million+ years of prehuman and human evolution won't change in just a few decades of gaslighting.
