If there's a time to pay attention to the weather, it's today! Severe storms are on track to develop across southeast Nebraska after 2 PM, spreading northward from there. Our data is showing that the initial, more isolated storms have the highest potential impact/damage-wise.

@BrandonCopicWx does Nebraska need to worry today, it’s so cloudy so that should hinder storms right?

@ryanhallyall Is the cloud cover in Nebraska this morning going to affect these storms?

Starting between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM today, intense tornadoes and giant hail will become a serious concern for folks in Kansas, Nebraska, and Missouri. These storms will move east and turn into a wind threat tonight.

@CosmicKoalaTX Ok it depends on your area but look on the NWS site go to info find SKYWARN, then go there and then there should be a link in blue that says find a class in my area hit that& you have to find your NWS region and then hit it and a schedule should pop up find a day that suits you

Not looking great if heading to Zach Bryan concert. Storms and warnings west that are trending east. Lightning delays look likely and make sure you have a way to get to shelter too.
