Arkansas raised starting teacher pay from 48th in the nation to top 5 and at the same time cut our income tax by 25%. But trying to teach economics to Mayor Mamdani is probably a lost cause…

This is basic econ. 50k AR goes farther than it does in NYC. Thus NYC must raise pay almost 2x to = AR. Guess what happens after that? Hint - Inflation

This is exactly why importing this ideology into the West is dangerous, because many of its followers still defend and justify these practices.

NYC would have to increase entry pay up to approximately 100k to equal Arkansas 50k. Essentially, Arkansas has a living wage…NY doesn’t. This is Econ101
