Private ownership was recorded in land registries inherited from the Ottoman Empire, most privately owned land was held by Arab inhabitants.

If conquest is the rule, then ancient presence doesn’t matter either. You can’t argue both at once. And the geographic term Palestine has been used for 1/2

Also, saying “Palestinians sided with Hitler” because of Amin al-Husseini is misleading. He didn’t represent all Palestinians, just like one extremist wouldn’t represent an entire people.
